Job summary

SeeAbility in Tadley, Hampshire is recruiting a Registered General Nurse to Make Every Day Matter. This 37.5-hour week role supports daily routines and complex care needs for residents at Heather House, a specialist setting for young adults with disabilities.

You will manage gastrostomy and nasogastric devices, provide palliative and end-of-life care, and ensure accurate records while building therapeutic relationships. A Band 5 qualification and valid UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification Band 5 with current registration.
• Experience in learning disabilities and complex care needs.
• Manual UK driving licence.
• Right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines from morning to bedtime.
• Manage gastrostomy devices, nasogastric tubes and catheters.
• Provide palliative and end-of-life care.
• Implement and evaluate all aspects of care.
• Keep accurate records and build therapeutic relationships.

What You’ll Need

• Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
• Previous nursing experience in learning disabilities and complex care needs
• A valid manual UK driving licence

• Supporting daily routines – from morning support to bedtime
• Management of gastrostomy devices, nasogastric tubes and indwelling catheters
• Managing palliative and end of life support
• Implementing and evaluating all aspects of care and support
