Registered Manager

Service: Residential Children’s Home (EBD)

Location: Sheffield, S10

Salary: £62,500 per year + revenue share scheme

Contract: Full-time, permanent

We’re looking for a Registered Manager to lead a well-settled EBD home in Sheffield. It’s a two-bed service with a Good rating and a strong, values-led foundation already in place. The structure’s there, the support’s there; now it needs someone steady, sharp and ambitious to keep driving things forward.

This is a role for someone who knows residential care inside out and wants to shape a home. You’ll be trusted to run the service your way, with backing from a leadership team who are serious about growth that’s ethical and child-centred.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the home day-to-day and holding Ofsted registration
• Keeping things safe, steady and compliant across care, staffing and safeguarding
• Supporting a small team with supervision, training and reflective practice
• Making sure care plans are strong, personalised and reviewed regularly
• Building solid relationships with families, schools and other professionals
• Contributing to wider development plans as the service expands

What you’ll need:

• Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
• At least 4 years working in a children’s home, and 2 year in a leadership role
• Confident with Ofsted standards, safeguarding and behaviour management
• A calm, thoughtful approach to leadership that others trust
• Full UK driving licence
