Job summary

Home Instead in North Wales seeks an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead an Outstanding-rated domiciliary care service across Denbighshire and Conwy. You will shape the future of the service, lead a dedicated team, ensure quality and compliance, and drive continuous improvement for person-centred care.

You will oversee care assessments, planning, safeguarding, budgets, recruitment, and development while building strong relationships with clients and healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role within health and social care.
• Strong knowledge of domiciliary care regulations, quality standards, and best practice.
• Proven experience leading and developing successful teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional care and improving people's lives.
• The confidence to make decisions, manage priorities, and lead by example.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day operation of a busy domiciliary care service.
• Ensuring compliance with CIW regulations, legislation, policies, and best practice.
• Inspiring, motivating, and supporting a team of care professionals to deliver outstanding outcomes.
• Maintaining regulatory compliance and liaising effectively with inspectors and external stakeholders.
• Driving quality assurance initiatives and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Overseeing care assessments, care planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes.
• Managing recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and staff development.
• Ensuring efficient rota planning and effective service delivery.
• Building strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
• Managing budgets and contributing to business growth and strategic development.
