Home Instead Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich is seeking a Deputy Care Manager to help lead an outstanding service and make a genuine difference every day. You’ll support a team of 60 Care Professionals and Supervisors, conduct care plans and risk assessments, and ensure high standards of CQC compliance across a respected London provider.

The role requires 3+ years in adult social care, NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care, and strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in adult social care, ideally domiciliary care.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above).
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and best practice.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using digital and AI-based systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead, support and inspire our team of 60 Care Professionals and Supervisors.
• Conduct care consultations, complete care plans and risk assessments.
• Carry out quality assurance visits, spot checks and annual appraisals.
• Ensure rigorous CQC compliance, audits and governance.
• Maintain audit compliant care records, medication documentation and visit logs.
• Support safeguarding, investigations and continuous quality improvement.
• Work closely with scheduling, recruitment and training to deliver outstanding client care.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide occasional ad hoc care support.
