Job summary

Sense is seeking a Registered Care Manager to lead a small residential home in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. You will manage a deputy and support workers, ensuring person-centred care, quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.

This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £34,671 per annum and requires a full UK driving licence for company vehicle use. Experience in care management and a Level 5 Leadership qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in management in a care setting such as residential care, supported living or community services.
• Leads with compassion and confidence, building a culture where colleagues feel supported and empowered.
• Puts people at the heart of every decision, ensuring choice, control and dignity for each individual.
• Holds an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day to day running of the service, ensuring safe, responsive and high quality support.
• Supervising and mentoring the team, and working closely with the Deputy Manager.
• Managing rotas, records and systems to keep information accurate and up to date.
• Overseeing CQC compliance, audits and improvement plans.
• Promoting person-centred approaches that respect communication differences and sensory needs.
