Job summary

McCurrach is seeking a Wholesale Account Executive to accelerate growth across a portfolio of 15-20 wholesale and cash & carry customers in the North East of England and Yorkshire. You will drive distribution, increase product availability, and grow market share in the OOH Ice Cream channel.

This remote role requires monthly attendance at the Kingston upon Thames office for collaboration. You will build strong customer relationships, develop and execute business plans, and lead commercial

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles.
• Proven track record of delivering sales, volume and profitability targets.
• Experience within FMCG, wholesale, or foodservice sectors.
• Knowledge of regional wholesalers, cash & carry operators, and independent channels.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the P&L performance across Regional Route to Market wholesalers and key Cash & Carry accounts.
• Drive sales growth, market share, profitability, and distribution across your customer portfolio.
• Use sales-in and sales-out data to identify opportunities and support decision-making.
• Partner with field sales to target high potential outlets and unlock growth opportunities.
• Develop and deliver customer account plans with short-term objectives and long-term growth strategies.
• Lead Joint Business Planning activity with regular reviews and thorough documentation.
• Create and implement customer incentive programmes to drive sales and increase share.
