Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Regional Training Manager, SSC, based in Gloucester with regular travel to Northern Ireland, to lead training initiatives across SSC and partner with the People function.

You will drive training delivery (classroom, on-site, virtual and blended), build capability, ensure compliance, and support onboarding while aligning with the wider People strategy and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong training, facilitation, coaching and presentation skills.
• Experience delivering training within an operational or multi-site environment.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
• Ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels.
• Excellent planning, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence using data and insight to identify training priorities.
• Train the Trainer experience or qualification.
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel regularly to Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate training across SSC.
• Deliver engaging classroom, on-site, virtual and blended training.
• Identify skills and capability gaps and implement training solutions.
• Support induction and onboarding for new colleagues.
• Deliver Train the Trainer activities.
• Support management, leadership and colleague capability programmes.
• Ensure training aligns with operational and colleague needs.
• Maintain high completion levels for mandatory and regulatory training.
• Monitor training compliance and address gaps.
• Maintain training records and support audits.
• Coordinate specialist training and refresher requirements.
• Provide updates on training performance and risks.
