Job summary

Skybridge Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a Sales Engineer to support growth and delivery in a regional branch. You will work with the branch management team to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and oversee projects from start to finish.

The role blends technical design, commercial focus and project management to deliver installation, service and maintenance solutions. You will travel across the region, conduct site visits, prepare quotes, manage risks, and ensure

Qualifications

Technically strong with qualifications in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration or air-conditioning disciplines.
Commercially aware with a track record of developing business in an engineering environment.
Experience working in a contracting role, ideally within building services or similar.
Competent in system design and equipment specification.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage and build relationships with new and existing clients.
Promote a full range of services: installations, PPM contracts, and service work.
Identify and convert new business opportunities and follow up leads.
Conduct site visits, produce quotes, and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Lead projects from enquiry through to completion.
Manage planning, procurement, and resource coordination.
Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout.
Oversee engineering teams, subcontractors, and internal support functions.
Track project profitability and performance.
