Job summary

Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking a Regional Supervisor HVAC — North to lead a regional team of engineers in delivering high‑quality HVAC services. You will provide technical guidance, review quotes, and manage client relationships while driving safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role blends technical expertise with people management, enabling a move off the tools into a leadership position.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / UK Level 3 NVQ in HVAC/Electrical or time-served with suitable experience.
• Relevant H&S qualification.
• Experience in industrial and commercial sectors.
• Demonstrable knowledge/experience of HVAC systems.
• Ability to understand schematic and wiring diagrams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• Microsoft Office/computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers.
• Review and quote for work.
• Client management and liaison with administration, management and engineering teams.
• Monitor engineers and ensure best practice in H&S and customer service.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Deliver contracted performance targets.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for region's technical competencies.
• Identify requirements and improvement opportunities with clients.
• Maintain high customer-service standards.
• Ensure engineers maintain technical competence and ongoing development.

Regional Supervisor HVAC — North

The role is essentially an operational manager for a regional team of engineers, rather than simply a senior engineer this role would suit an experienced engineer who is now looking to come off the tools and take the next step in their career, moving into a Team Management position where you can use your technical knowledge while developing your management, leadership and customer-facing skills.

Main responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers.
• Review and quote for work
• Client Management
• Act as the link between administration, management and the engineering team.
• Monitor engineers and ensure best practice in H&S, engineering standards and customer service.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Deliver contracted performance targets.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the region's technical competencies.
• Liaise directly with clients to establish requirements and identify improvement/project opportunities.
• Maintain high customer-service standards.
• Ensure engineers maintain their technical competence and undertake ongoing development.

Qualifications / experience:

• City & Guilds / UK Level 3 NVQ in a relevant HVAC/Electrical discipline, or time-served with suitable experience.
• Relevant H&S qualification.
• Experience working in the industrial and commercial sectors.
• Demonstrable knowledge/experience of HVAC systems.
• Ability to understand schematic and wiring diagrams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• Microsoft Office/computer literacy.
