Job summary

GHG Solutions Ltd, a UK loss adjusting company with offices in Southampton, Halifax, Doncaster and Enniskillen, seeks an experienced Subsidence Regional Manager to lead the Subsidence Specialist Team and drive high-quality claims handling across the region. The role requires 5+ years in subsidence claims management, strong leadership, and a track record of achieving operational targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., insurance, risk management) preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in subsidence claims management, supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of subsidence principles, investigations, and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant insurance policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making in complex situations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Results-oriented with focus on achieving operational targets and delivering high-quality services.
• Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of subsidence specialists to ensure high performance and goals.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to team members.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations.
• Oversee end-to-end management of subsidence claims within the region, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review complex claims to determine coverage, liability, and settlement strategies.
• Provide technical guidance on complex or escalated cases.
• Collaborate with insurers, underwriters, and risk assessors to assess risk and develop strategies.
• Monitor KPIs to drive efficiency and identify improvement areas.
• Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to ensure standards and protocols are met.
• Develop and implement SOPs to streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and external stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for escalated inquiries and proactively address issues.
• Collaborate with business development to expand client relationships.
• Prepare reports on claims activities, performance metrics, and regional trends.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and strategic initiatives.
