Job summary

Cars2 Ltd in Barnsley is seeking an experienced Regional Service Manager to lead two automotive service centres within our growing Aftersales operation. You will mentor Service Managers, drive performance improvements and uphold manufacturer standards, health and safety, and customer service excellence.

You will shape operational strategy, monitor KPIs, and focus on profitability while maintaining a strong customer experience across multiple sites. A full UK driving licence is required.

Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Regional Service Manager to join our Aftersales leadership team.

Based in Barnsley, you will take responsibility for supporting the operational and commercial performance of two automotive service centres, working closely with the management teams to deliver outstanding performance, exceptional customer service and consistently high operational standards.

The Role

As Regional Service Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting and developing the operational performance of two automotive service centres.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing Service Managers and their teams to achieve their full potential.
• Monitoring and improving key performance measures, including productivity, efficiency, customer satisfaction, labour performance and profitability.
• Driving strong commercial performance while maintaining an uncompromising focus on the customer experience.
• Ensuring company processes, manufacturer standards and operational procedures are consistently followed.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring agreed actions are implemented and delivered.
• Driving improvements in workshop performance, capacity utilisation and overall Aftersales profitability.
• Supporting the delivery of consistently high standards across every customer touchpoint.
• Maintaining excellent standards of Health & Safety, compliance and automotive industry best practice.
• Creating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance across both locations.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an established automotive professional who can combine strong leadership with commercial awareness and a genuine passion for Aftersales

Ideally, You Will Have

• Previous experience as a Regional Service Manager, Area Manager, Aftersales Manager, Centre Manager or in a similar multi-site automotive leadership position.
• Strong experience within automotive Aftersales, servicing, workshop operations or vehicle repair.
• A proven track record of developing managers and building successful, motivated teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand, challenge and improve operational KPIs.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• The confidence to challenge performance constructively and implement change where required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• A sound understanding of Health & Safety, compliance and workshop operating standards.
• The ability to influence, support and motivate teams across multiple locations.
• A full UK driving licence.
