Job summary

First Response Group Ltd is seeking a Security Operations Manager for the Southern Region of the UK, overseeing security, cleaning, and reception services. You will drive staffing, monitor KPIs, and coordinate across contracts to deliver consistent high-quality service.

Responsibilities include workforce planning, site audits, and end-to-end employee lifecycle management, with a strong emphasis on training, licensing, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security operations across multiple sites.
• Proven ability to recruit and onboard staff effectively.
• Experience handling attendance, disciplinary, and performance matters.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and a valid SIA Front Line Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day security, cleaning, and reception services across contracts, ensuring staffing and KPIs meet standards.
• Plan workforce and allocate resources to fulfill contractual requirements and contingency plans.
• Visit sites, perform audits, and drive service quality across all areas.
• Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and succession planning.
• Manage employee relations, probation reviews, and performance-improvement processes.
• Ensure staff training, licences, and right-to-work documentation are current.
• Maintain compliance with policies, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster strong client relationships through regular meetings and proactive service improvements.
