First Response Group is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead security, cleaning, and reception services across the Southern Region of the UK, ensuring staffing, KPIs, and SLAs are consistently met. Qualifications

• Previous experience managing security operations across multiple sites.
• Experience managing recruitment and employee onboarding.
• Experience dealing with attendance management, disciplinary matters and performance management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid SIA Front Line Licence
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of security, cleaning, and reception services across multiple contracts, ensuring locations are staffed and meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Maintain effective workforce planning and resource allocation to meet contractual requirements with contingency plans for disruption.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and quality assurance checks to monitor performance and drive operational excellence.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, induction, retention, and performance management to keep teams engaged.
• Manage employee relations in line with policies, including probation reviews and absence management.
• Ensure training, licenses, and right-to-work documentation are current and compliant.
• Maintain robust contract compliance with up-to-date assignment instructions, risk assessments, and policies.
• Develop strong client relationships through regular communication and reviews, driving service enhancements.
