Job summary

First Response Group is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead security, cleaning, and reception services across multiple contracts in the Southern Region of the UK. You will ensure staffing, operational excellence, and achievement of KPIs and SLAs.

You will drive workforce planning, on-site audits, training, and regulatory compliance while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Experience managing security operations across multiple sites.
• Experience managing recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Experience handling attendance management, disciplinary matters and performance management.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Hold a valid SIA Front Line licence.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of security, cleaning, and reception services across contracts.
• Ensure locations are staffed, operationally effective, and meet service standards, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Conduct regular site visits, audits, and quality assurance checks to monitor performance and drive excellence.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, induction, retention, and development.
• Manage employee relations per policies, including probation reviews and disciplinary investigations.
• Ensure staff are trained, licensed, and compliant with right-to-work documentation.
• Maintain compliance with contract instructions, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop strong client relationships through regular communication and service reviews.
