The Role of the Regional Sales Manager
The main responsibility is to sell ultrasound Point of Care capital equipment.
You will sell into NHS and private hospitals, liaising, demonstrating, and selling the portfolio of ultrasound capital equipment to surgeons, consultants, and procurement teams.
You will be responsible for preparing customer presentations, tenders, and proposals.
The majority of your time is spent in secondary care environments.
This role involves both new business development and managing existing accounts.
Coverage includes Wales, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Bristol, Telford, Walsall, Stoke, and Derby.
The Ideal Person for the Regional Sales Manager
Must have medical capital equipment sales experience, particularly with high-value sales.
Excellent relationship-building skills.
Focused, self-starting, and resilient.
Performance-driven with a customer-oriented approach.
Team player with good communication skills.
Strong consultative selling and closing abilities.
Experience selling to procurement levels and above, NHS trusts, familiar with terms and contracts.
Hunter mentality, living on the patch, with proven performance in capital sales.
Motivated to exceed OTE, very focused, self-driven, and resilient.
