Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Safeguarding Regional Trainer to support its South region with remote delivery of Level 3/4 safeguarding and domestic abuse training. The role travels to Priory sites and attends monthly meetings in Leicester, ensuring high standards of compliance and staff development.

You will design engaging training, update materials, and use the LMS to monitor progress, supporting regional teams to achieve Priory’s 90% compliance target.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering safeguarding training to diverse groups.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding adults and children.
• Ability to engage learners across virtual and face-to-face settings.
• Proven ability to track training compliance and report outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 3 and Level 4 Advanced Safeguarding training, including Domestic Abuse.
• Design and update webinars and training materials per legislation and Priory policies.
• Use LMS to track completion, identify gaps and support sites to meet 90% compliance.
• Build strong relationships with site teams and regional stakeholders.
• Monitor attendance and escalate non-attendance or gaps in knowledge as needed.
• Produce reports on training compliance and forecasting attendance.
• Adapt training to service needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with the L&OD team to address compliance challenges.
• Keep knowledge current through CPD and sharing best practices.
