Job summary

Valley CIDS is seeking a standalone Training & Development Manager to design, coordinate, deliver, and assess training across all retail sites in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and High Peak. The role drives consistency in training and supports colleague and volunteer development to boost the charity’s retail performance.

You will travel regionally to deliver inductions, coach staff, and maintain training records while working with senior management to report on progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in charity retail or a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to train and engage staff and volunteers.
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver training sessions across all sites.
• Lead workshops, interactive training sessions, and regional meetings.
• Induction & onboarding across region, supporting new employees.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and professional guidance to staff and volunteers.
• Maintain accurate training records and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
