Job summary

Balfour Beatty Power T&D is seeking a proactive Training Coordinator to support the delivery of training and competence programmes across our growing Power business, based at Maxim Park, Scotland.

You will work with the Training Programme Lead to coordinate training plans, ensure compliance, and support operations with their training needs, while contributing to safe, high‑quality project delivery across the UK.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of training environment and awarding body working methodology.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• CIPD/CPD accreditation (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in construction or utilities training settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design and implementation of training plans across the Power business.
• Support operational teams with training needs, planning, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliant, professional training services aligned with company strategy.
• Advise operations on changes in training requirements and legislation.
• Monitor budget forecasting and CITB returns, and drive continuous training improvements.
• Facilitate communication between operations, training centres, and providers.
