Job summary

Balfour Beatty are seeking a Project Trainer to support our Power Transmission and Distribution teams across Scotland. The role involves delivering training to site engineers, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards, and developing new training materials.

The position requires travel across the UK and offers remote work when not travelling. A UK driving licence is essential, with a company car provided for travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction/Power or utilities industry at a supervisor/engineer level.
• Ability to lead and manage work teams.
• Hold a UK full driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Competent in MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assess all Project staff trainees to ensure they are compliant with current legislation and company standards.
• Develop training materials and activities in collaboration with the Training team.
• Assess/manage and deliver project job role training and support.
• Train & deliver various training packages and assess end-point assessment events.
• Travel throughout the UK delivering project role training.
