Job summary

NG Bailey Group in Leeds is seeking an experienced People Partner to support the NEYS region. This hybrid role focuses on shaping workforce strategies, influencing senior leaders, and delivering people plans that drive performance across construction, engineering and infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with operational leaders, manage complex casework, and develop leaders to perform at their best. The role requires a UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist role.
• Strong UK employment law and employee relations expertise.
• Experience managing complex casework and organisational change initiatives.
• The confidence to influence leaders and challenge constructively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnering: Partner with senior leaders to shape workforce and people strategies.
• Lead on complex employee relations and organisational change activity.
• Coach and develop managers to build high performing teams.
• Develop and deliver regional people plans that support business objectives and workforce performance.
• Use people data and insight to drive business performance.
• Support talent, succession and leadership initiatives.
