Job summary

B&Q plc in the United Kingdom is recruiting a senior HR business partner to lead the regional people plan and partner with three Regional Managers and the regional leadership team. The role drives people strategy aligned to commercial priorities and fosters a high-performance, inclusive culture across stores.

You will analyse data to identify risks and opportunities, coach leaders through change, and own succession, talent, and workforce planning for the region, ensuring fair hiring and employee

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management at senior levels with a track record of partnering with leadership.
• Ability to analyse people data to inform decisions and strategies.
• Experience leading change and embedding new ways of working.
• Proven influencing skills and sound professional judgement.
• Excellent prioritisation and time management to balance competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Own the regional people plan and translate it into deliverable actions that drive national consistency with local relevance.
• Partner with Regional Managers to provide pragmatic, commercial, people-led solutions.
• Coach leaders to build inclusive leadership and manage performance.
• Lead regional talent, succession, and workforce planning aligned to future needs.
• Drive hiring practices, improve colleague experience, and monitor engagement data.
• Ensure governance, policy and employment legislation are applied consistently.
