Job summary

Bite Talent is excited to partner with a growing restaurant group to appoint an experienced Regional Operations Manager across a multi-site estate in the UK. You’ll lead General Managers, build strong leadership teams and shape openings while maintaining high standards in food, service and guest experiences.

With £70k–£100k+ weekly site potential and a founder-led, autonomous environment, you’ll travel to sites across major towns and cities, develop leaders, and drive sustainable profitability

Qualifications

• Proven Area Manager, Operations Manager or Regional Manager experience.
• Strong restaurant or casual dining background.
• Experience managing multiple high-volume sites.
• Exposure to restaurants taking £50k+ per week.
• Strong people leadership and coaching capability.
• Track record developing General Managers and future leaders.
• Excellent commercial awareness across sales, labour, GP and profitability.
• Strong operational instincts and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and resolve people and operational issues quickly.
• Experience working across larger towns or cities.
• Experience supporting or leading new openings.
• Full-service restaurant background is important and this is not a remote, spreadsheet-led role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop General Managers across the region.
• Build strong management teams and succession plans.
• Support and lead new restaurant openings.
• Drive standards across food, service and guest experience.
• Deliver strong commercial performance across sales, labour, GP and profitability.
• Spend meaningful time in restaurants to understand what is happening beyond the numbers.
• Identify issues early and take decisive action.
• Support underperforming sites to get back on track.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and central support functions.
• Help shape the operational structure as the business grows.
