Job summary

JDP in the United Kingdom (Cambridge) is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead seven branches, develop Branch Managers and drive sales growth with a focus on margins and customer service.

You will oversee regional performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic projects to accelerate expansion across the region while collaborating with Sales, Operations and HR teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multiple locations or business units.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and profit growth.
• Ability to coach, motivate and develop managers.
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across the business.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first environment, with H&S at the forefront of operations.
• Drive sales revenue, gross profit and margin growth across your region.
• Support branches in increasing customer footfall and improving retention and spend.
• Develop strategies to win new customers and grow account portfolios.
• Challenge and support Branch Managers to identify opportunities and address performance gaps.
• Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor branch performance using data to drive action.
• Ensure delivery of company standards and strategic objectives.
• Lead regional initiatives and regional meetings to share ideas and networking.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Commercial, HR and other support functions.
