Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited is seeking an ambitious Operations Director to grow and lead our Northern Powergrid region. You will oversee the delivery of DNO frameworks and projects across Yorkshire, ensuring profitability and high customer satisfaction through strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.

The role involves securing contracts, building partnerships, and guiding a regional team across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Proven track record of running a business or region delivering similar projects.
• Strong connections within Northern Powergrid and understanding of its workflows, supply chain, and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by securing and delivering projects such as substation asset replacements.
• Provide strategic leadership by creating a regional plan and ensuring successful contract delivery while maximising profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and build strong partnerships with Northern Powergrid and the supply chain.
• Build high-performing teams by recruiting and developing a capable delivery workforce.

Education
