Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Operations Director to join the Building Solutions team, based in Regional office North (Sheffield). You will lead the Northern region, drive profitable growth, manage P&L, and deliver high-quality construction projects while ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will build strong client relationships, develop your teams, and shape pre-construction and mobilisation programs to win work and expand market share in the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex construction projects.
• Strong ability to coach, develop and inspire diverse teams.
• Emotional intelligence and accountability for people, customers, safety, and financial performance.
• Experience setting clear goals and targets to drive execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
