Job summary

Vertical Recruitment Limited is assisting with a Regional Director appointment in Manchester for a leading international construction and property consultancy. You will lead a regional team of ~10 professionals, drive growth, and manage client relationships across highways, water, energy and gas sectors.

You will retain an operational presence with commercial oversight on NEC contracts, delivering major programmes while shaping the North West utilities market’s future.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure or utilities projects within a consultancy environment.
• Proven track record of winning work and growing business performance.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regional Infrastructure & Utilities team across Manchester and the North West.
• Drive business growth through client development and successful work-winning activity.
• Take ownership of regional financial performance including revenue, profitability and P&L.
• Provide commercial leadership across major infrastructure commissions with NEC contracts.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams and plan for succession.
• Foster long-term relationships with existing clients and identify new opportunities.
• Lead bid submissions, fee proposals and strategic pursuits for new work.
• Ensure governance, controls and quality assurance across projects.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to grow the Infrastructure & Utilities business.
