Kingsley in Hampshire is seeking a Director to lead the Structural Engineering discipline across the southern region. You will provide strategic and technical leadership to a team delivering high-value projects and managing client relationships at senior levels.

The role includes driving business development, overseeing resourcing and budgets, and shaping growth with the wider leadership team. A senior leadership track with long-term progression awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Chartered Structural Engineer with proven consultancy experience.
• Significant post-chartership experience in a consultancy.
• Strong technical capability in delivering complex structural schemes.
• Proven leadership experience inspiring and developing teams.
• Commercial awareness including budgets, bids and fee proposals.
• Track record of securing new work and strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at senior level.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership to the Structural Engineering team.
• Lead delivery of high-value projects from concept to completion.
• Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as trusted adviser.
• Drive business development to grow the regional pipeline.
• Oversee performance, resourcing, mentoring and recruitment.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and P&L responsibilities.
• Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement regional growth strategies.
