Job summary

Kier is seeking a Project Director to join our Construction team in the Eastern Region. You will lead major regional projects valued over £100m, shaping design and construction while delivering safe, commercial, and high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Construction and professional qualification
• Proven track record delivering major projects of similar scale
• Excellent management and communication skills to lead diverse teams
• Strong commercial awareness with knowledge of contract conditions and construction law
• Emotionally intelligent, collaborative leader capable of stakeholder navigation

Responsibilities

• Leading safety, health and environmental culture across all project works, ensuring compliance with regulations and Kier's standards
• Developing and delivering project execution plans with practical performance measures to meet project objectives
• Managing design consultants and trade contractors to ensure timely delivery within budget and programme timescales
• Overseeing commercial performance including finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability
• Leading and developing your project team, undertaking line management responsibilities and creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can excel
