Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and ongoing development training across a regional set of homes and hospitals. Qualifications

• C&G 7300 (or equivalent) required.
• Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or experience in social care sector.
• Working knowledge of legislative requirements in care sector.
• 2 years training experience required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver induction and development training across Barchester objectives and training statistics.
• Provide practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjects.
• Plan and publish training calendars.
• Ensure employee training files are up to date.
• Observe workplace practice and coach new staff.
• Arrange induction paperwork and assign a buddy in advance.
• Maintain regular contact with new team members, coaching as needed.
• Attend meetings and external conferences as required.
• Promote learning and development opportunities offered by Barchester.
• Work with Home Managers to implement individual personal development plans.
