Primaire Consulting Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive automation component sales in the South East UK, targeting OEMs and panel builders. You will manage and grow the territory, build strong relationships, and present tailored automation solutions.

The role requires a proven field sales track record, strong technical aptitude, excellent communication, and a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel across the territory. A CRM system is used for forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field sales within the electrical or automation industry.
• Experience selling to OEMs and panel builders.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex automation products.

Responsibilities

• Territory Management: grow sales across the South East UK by visiting customers and identifying opportunities.
• Customer Engagement: be the primary contact for OEMs and panel builders, offering tailored automation solutions.
• Sales Growth: achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Technical Expertise: stay updated on automation components to advise customers accurately.
• Account Management: develop strategic plans for key customers and repeat business.
• New Business Development: identify and engage potential clients via networking and trade shows.
• Reporting: maintain CRM records and provide sales forecasts and market insights.
• Collaboration: work with technical support, product management and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
