AXA UK is seeking a Motor Trade Development Underwriter to drive profitable growth across Mid-Market and Mid-Corporate segments in the Southampton or Birmingham region. The role involves presenting propositions, negotiating coverages and pricing, and managing a robust pipeline with strong broker relationships.

You will travel within your area, and a company car or cash allowance is provided. The position supports a hybrid model, balancing office and client engagement to deliver results.

Formación

• Expert Motor Trade underwriting knowledge in the Southampton or Birmingham area.
• Experience securing and retaining large, complex business.
• Proven ability to build broker and client relationships to grow pipeline.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the face of AXA in presenting propositions for larger Mid-Market and Mid–Corporate risks.
• Negotiate coverage, wordings and pricing with Trading Underwriters.
• Proactively develop a robust pipeline of growth opportunities; manage and realise it.
• Lead and embed the large case management process for new business.
• Build collaborative broker relationships and own generation, placement and retention of profitable business.
• Underwrite new and existing business in line with AXA underwriting controls.
