Job summary

HSBC is recruiting a Business Development Manager, Mortgages - Intermediary Partnerships to grow and manage relationships with external mortgage intermediary partners across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. The role focuses on generating mortgage lending opportunities and delivering against acquisition forecasts.

You’ll travel across the territory, engage with intermediaries in person and remotely, and work with internal teams to shape the intermediary proposition and drive regional growth

Qualifications

• Experience in UK Intermediary Mortgage Market is essential.
• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel daily across territory and twice-monthly regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Build deep, long-term relationships with mortgage intermediaries across the territory.
• Identify opportunities to develop business and increase market share using MI and performance data.
• Establish relationships with intermediary firms including Admin Brokers, Sales Managers and MDs.
• Coordinate activities with internal teams for campaigns and events.
• Share insights to continuously improve the intermediary proposition.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and manage multiple relationships at different levels.
