Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the North West region's commercial strategy and performance. You will oversee all commercial activities from pre-construction to final account, ensuring profitability while managing risk and supporting sustainable growth.

You will drive regional commercial strategies, manage budgets and cash flow, and lead a high-performing team in collaboration with operations, clients and suppliers. This role demands strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Senior commercial leadership experience in an M&E installation organisation.
• Experience managing regional commercial performance with regional turnover around £30m.
• Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial strategy, governance and performance for the North West region.
• Lead all commercial activities from pre-construction through to final account.
• Develop and implement regional commercial strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Manage revenue, margin, cash flow and cost control performance.
• Review project budgets, forecasts, CVRs and final accounts.
• Lead variations, claims and contractual entitlements.
• Support major tenders and negotiated opportunities.
• Lead dispute resolution and commercial negotiations.
• Build and develop a high-performing commercial team.
• Collaborate with operational leaders, clients and supply chain partners to drive project outcomes.
