Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Regional Major Loss Manager to lead a team of Major Loss Field Adjusters handling domestic property claims from £50,000 to £250,000 across the region. The role focuses on delivering expert, accurate and compassionate outcomes while strengthening capability and processes.

You will oversee operational and technical elements, driving quality, cost control and customer service, while coaching and developing your team and collaborating with Claims to share insights for future ways

Qualifications

• Experience in a managerial role leading a team within a specialist claims area.
• Experience handling complex property claims, ideally including losses exceeding £100,000.
• Strong understanding of building practices and regulations linked to reinstatement work.
• Ability to plan, prioritise, multi‑task, and deliver within agreed timeframes.
• Excellent communication skills, with proven experience coaching and mentoring others.

Responsibilities
