Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Regional Major Loss Manager to lead a team of Major Loss Field Adjusters handling domestic property claims typically ranging from £50,000 to £250,000. You will drive quality, cost control, and exceptional customer service across the region while coaching and developing your team.

You’ll work with Claims partners to improve processes, share insights, and shape future ways of working, fostering capability and leadership within the Major Loss function.

Qualifications

• Experience in a managerial role leading a team within a specialist claims area.
• Experience handling complex property claims, ideally including losses exceeding £100,000.
• Strong understanding of building practices and regulations linked to reinstatement work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Major Loss Field Adjusters who manage domestic property claims.
• Oversee all operational and technical elements, driving high standards in quality, estimating, cost control, and customer service.
• Coach, develop and support your team to build regional capability and work with Claims colleagues to improve processes.
