Your new company

Our client is a specialist facilities service provider delivering services across the UK. They are hiring a Regional Operations Manager to oversee strategic and operational delivery for a portfolio of sites in the South East on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As Regional Operations Manager, you will work closely with the UK Operations Director to oversee daily operations including repairs, compliance, voids, and grounds maintenance for a public sector accommodation provider. Your responsibilities include maintaining high standards, meeting performance targets, and prioritizing health and safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will act as a deputy to the UK Operations Director, representing the team at meetings and forums. Your commercial awareness will help identify efficiency improvements and cost savings while maintaining service excellence. You will lead operational teams, fostering continuous improvement.

You will manage the supply chain, ensuring performance and value for money, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, promoting a customer-first culture.

This is a hands-on, mobile role covering a 24-hour operation. You must be available for on-call duties and willing to travel across the South East, including overnight stays as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

You should have a strong operational background in housing property maintenance, preferably within social housing or local authorities. Additionally, you will need:

• Experience in delivering repairs, voids, compliance, and maintenance services, with effective supply chain management skills.
• A proven track record in continuous improvement, contract performance, change management, and business improvements.
• Confidence in engaging with clients and stakeholders, and ability to deputize for senior leadership.
• IOSH or NEBOSH certification is desirable but not essential.
