Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking an experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, repairs and compliance for a portfolio of care homes in Dorset & Somerset. You will manage teams, coordinate contractors and ensure statutory obligations are met across all sites.

The role requires a hands‑on leader with strong technical knowledge, a trades background, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will travel regularly across the region using a company vehicle and contribute to safe,

Qualifications

• Has proven experience in regional or multi-site maintenance or facilities role.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Trades background in plumbing, electrical, joinery or related fit out.
• Ability to coach and develop maintenance teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and compliance across allocated homes and regions.
• Oversee repairs, preventative maintenance and condition surveys.
• Provide leadership, coaching and technical support to on-site teams.
• Manage contractors, supervise work quality and ensure safety standards.
• Record expenditure, communicate with stakeholders and travel between sites.
