Job summary

Agincare Group seeks an experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance, repairs and compliance across its Dorset & Somerset care homes. You will lead site-based teams, manage contractors, and ensure statutory obligations are met, while driving safety, quality and cost control.

You’ll travel between sites in the region, implement preventative maintenance programmes, and develop people to sustain high standards of care environments for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in regional or multi-site maintenance or facilities roles.
• Trade background in plumbing, plastering, tiling, electrician, joinery or window/door installation.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Confident coaching and developing maintenance teams.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repairs and compliance across allocated homes.
• Lead on-site maintenance operatives and coach teams.
• Manage external contractors and ensure safety standards.
• Ensure timely statutory checks and accurate documentation.
• Monitor spend and justify contractor usage when internal capability suffices.
• Travel between sites in the region to supervise works and training.
