Job summary
Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, seeks a Business Improvement Manager to lead regional operational improvement initiatives across warehouse and transport. You will partner with site leadership to identify opportunities, deliver measurable cost, quality, service and safety gains, and quantify savings with Finance support.
The role is full-time and permanent, 09:00–17:30, Mon-Fri, with flexible base options in the Midlands or North West and a strong Lean Six Sigma capability to drive change
Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with experience in applying Lean tools.
- Proven track record delivering warehouse/transport improvement projects.
- Strong project/change management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with site senior leaders to identify improvement opportunities across quality, cost, service and safety.
- Agree objectives and timescales with regional teams for improvement initiatives.
- Produce proposals and communicate with stakeholders, including clients as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and BI teams to develop new ways of working.
- Ensure improvement projects deliver measurable savings and sustain traction.
