Job summary

Great Bear, part of Culina Group, seeks a Solutions Development Manager to lead tender responses, analyse customer data, and design commercially competitive transport solutions across the Midlands/North. You will mentor a team, coordinate with cross-functional colleagues, and present proposals to senior stakeholders within a flexible location framework.

Reporting to the Head of Solutions Development, the role demands strong Excel modelling, cost analysis, and industry knowledge to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics solutions design with commercial accountability.
• Ability to lead a tender team and coordinate cross-functional input.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender responses and ensure commercially competitive solutions.
• Analyse customer data and requirements to design suitable models.
• Manage a team of 5–7 Solutions Development Managers and mentor staff.
• Prepare tender documentation and client presentations.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, HR and facilities for bid success.
• Develop and maintain industry knowledge and professional network.
