Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Continuous Improvement Practitioner specialising in transport design to join its entrepreneurial team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the site CI plan, act as PMO for the site and support the Operational Excellence Strategy, driving safety, quality, cost and delivery improvements.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30, with responsibilities spanning project delivery, benefits tracking, and

Qualifications

• Aware of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Previous experience of being involved or leading elements of a project i.e. basic Project Management tools and techniques.
• Presentation skills and ability to deliver training.
• Some knowledge of IT systems for example M-Type, SCE, TMS, Info view ideal.
• Experience of working closely with operations and developing effective working relationships.
• Experience of implementing change in a challenging environment.
• Experience of working in a project environment and of improvement activity.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the delivery of the Site CI plan and PMO for the site.
• Facilitating change activity to deliver Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People benefits.
• Track and report on benefits identified and realised locally at site.
• Lead the delivery of small projects to unlock benefit.
• Upskill and coach colleagues on CI and problem solving.
