Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking an experienced Contracts Installation Manager to oversee kitchen installations across the North UK area. This site-based role involves coordinating fitting teams, managing multiple projects, and ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to Howdens' high standards.

You'll act as the main link between customers, site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, leading pre-start meetings, resolving on-site issues, and promoting a strong health and safety

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
• Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven leadership to drive on-site teams to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key link between customers, site teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate fitting teams and subcontractors on site across the North.
• Conduct pre-start meetings and set projects up for success from day one.
• Ensure installations meet high standards of quality, safety and customer service.
• Build strong relationships with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Contracts Managers and depot teams.
• Monitor progress on site, resolve issues quickly and keep projects on track.
• Support the National Contracts Installation Manager in delivering installations regionally.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture across all sites.
