Job summary

Howdens is seeking an experienced Contracts Installation Manager to oversee kitchen installations across the North UK. This on-site role focuses on coordinating multiple projects, leading fitting teams and subcontractors, and ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a background in installation or construction management, strong safety awareness, and excellent communication with site managers and depot teams. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

Experience coordinating installations on site across multiple projects.
Background as Installation Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager, Contracts Supervisor, Construction Manager, or similar.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/site plans.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple live installation projects in the North UK region.
Lead Howdens-approved fitting teams and subcontractors on site.
Conduct pre-start meetings and set projects up for success.
Ensure installations meet high standards of quality, safety and customer service.
Build strong relationships with site managers, quantity surveyors and depot teams.
Monitor progress, resolve issues, and keep projects on track.
Support the National Contracts Installation Manager with regional deliveries.
Promote a strong health and safety culture across sites.
