Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking an experienced Contracts Installation Manager to oversee kitchen installations across the North UK. This site-based role requires coordinating internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and kept to Howdens' high standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a track record in fit-out or construction projects, with a full UK driving licence and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience managing product installations, fit-out projects, or construction activities on site.
• Excellent reading of technical drawings and site plans.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with high attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple live installation projects across the North UK.
• Lead and co-ordinate Howdens-approved fitting teams and subcontractors on site.
• Conduct pre-start meetings and set up projects for success from day one.
• Ensure installations meet Howdens' quality, safety, and customer service standards.
• Build strong relationships with Site Managers, QS, Contracts Managers and depot teams.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues quickly, and keep projects on track.
• Support the National Contracts Installation Manager with delivery across the region.
