Job summary

Howdens is seeking an experienced Contracts Installation Manager to oversee kitchen installations across the North UK. This on-site role focuses on managing multiple projects, coordinating Howdens-approved teams and subcontractors, and ensuring installations meet high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience managing installations or construction projects on site.
• Background as Installation Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager, Contracts Supervisor, Construction Manager, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
• Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with high attention to detail.
• Confidence to lead teams and influence positive outcomes on site.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple live installation projects across the North.
• Leading and coordinating Howdens-approved fitting teams and subcontractors on site.
• Conducting pre-start meetings and ensuring projects are set up for success from day one.
• Ensuring all installations meet Howdens' high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
• Building strong working relationships with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Contracts Managers, and depot teams.
• Monitoring progress on site, resolving issues quickly, and keeping projects on track.
• Supporting the National Contracts Installation Manager with the successful delivery of installations across the region.
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture across all sites.
