Job summary

Bourne Education Trust seeks a Regional Service Delivery Manager to lead IT support across a regional cluster of schools and help implement the Trust’s IT strategy and roadmap. This role increasingly supports curriculum delivery, business management and administration.

The post requires 3+ years in IT management, ITIL familiarity or willingness to train, and a commitment to safeguarding. Regular travel to school sites is expected within Surrey/Hampshire/London boroughs.

Qualifications

An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
ITIL certification or the willingness to undertake training.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within a Network/IT Management role or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead the provision of IT technical support and accountable for systems and services within the allocated cluster of schools.
Accountable for help-desk ticket response rates for allocated schools, ensuring they fall within agreed limits, supporting technical staff as required and ensuring escalation to the Technical or Operations Manager as appropriate.
Ensure that training, where required, is provided to technical staff within the cluster.
