Job summary

Cadent Gas is seeking an Associate IT Field Technical Analyst. This hybrid role with travel across the East Midlands requires delivering hands-on 1st and 2nd line IT support to field users, managing local IT infrastructure and stock, and driving improvements in first-time fixes.

You will collaborate with operational teams, suppliers and IT specialists to ensure devices, applications and services stay robust and secure. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT services across networks, Windows OS, AD/Entra ID and M365.
• Experience in a multi-sourced environment and ITIL disciplines.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to support colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to prioritise multiple issues and communicate complex IT matters clearly.
• A full UK driving licence is essential for travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 1st and 2nd line IT support to field users.
• Manage and maintain local IT infrastructure and hardware stock.
• Complete audits and build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• Champion best practice and drive improvements to first-time fixes and service delivery.
