Job summary

Cadent Foundation is seeking an Associate IT Field Technical Analyst to deliver hands‑on 1st and 2nd line IT support across our East Midlands network. You will manage local IT infrastructure, hardware stock, audits and vendor relationships while championing best practices to boost first‑time fixes.

The role is hybrid with travel, offering variety, autonomy and a clear impact on how colleagues work. A full UK driving licence is essential for travel across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT services in a multi-sourced environment, ideally within ITIL disciplines.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to support colleagues at all levels, from field operatives to senior leaders.
• Knowledge across networks, Microsoft operating systems, AD/Entra ID, M365, device builds, Intune/SCCM, mobile solutions, AV and IT security.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to field users across the designated network area.
• Manage and maintain local IT infrastructure and oversee hardware stock and audits.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and service providers.
• Identify opportunities to increase first‑time fixes and improve IT service delivery.
