Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Health & Safety Support Manager to back the Head of Occupational Health & Safety in developing and implementing HSE management systems across distribution, production and manufacturing. The role requires travel across the South West and South East, with field-based operations and a strong emphasis on safety culture.

Qualifications

• Technical/professional qualification in NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HSE related legislation and standards.
• Knowledge of safety management systems and risk control tools.
• Experience delivering improved HSE performance, supporting operational managers with investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.
• Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with incident management software and office tools.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently while supporting team targets.
• Able to travel regularly and hold a Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide health, safety, security and environmental guidance to senior management and colleagues across regions.
• Act as a point of contact for HSE matters, collaborating with local teams to drive safety improvements.
• Support business functions to ensure alignment with HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Promote consistent safety culture through visible leadership and safe working practices.
• Lead implementation and monitoring of key HSE systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
