Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Health & Safety Support Manager to assist the Head of Occupational Health & Safety in developing and implementing HSE systems across our field operations. You’ll promote a positive safety culture, provide guidance from Distribution to Production & Manufacturing, and work with regional teams to improve safety performance.

Candidates will have NEBOSH, strong communication skills, experience in incident investigations, and the ability to travel with a full driving

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and standards.
• Knowledge of safety management systems and risk control tools.
• Experience delivering improved HSE performance through incident investigations and root cause actions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence.
• Proficient written and verbal communication; computer skills including incident management software.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently; support HSE targets.
• Willing to travel regularly and stay away from home; full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide health, safety, security and environmental guidance to senior management and regional teams.
• Act as HSE contact; lead with insights to drive improvement.
• Ensure safe, environmentally responsible workplace; align with external standards.
• Drive consistent safety culture with visible leadership.
• Liaise with stakeholders to minimise incidents and regulatory concerns.
• Lead implementation and monitoring of critical HSE systems and compliance.
